About us Hotel Kristal is a family hotel in Bohinj, situated close to Lake Bohinj, on the outskirts of the Triglav national park. The hotel was built and renovated in line with local tradition and gives its guests the homely feeling, characteristic of the region. Hospitality, delicious cuisine, unspoilt nature and abundant possibilities for an active holiday await you at this excellent starting point.   Why stay at our hotel? We assure you that you will feel well in our company, enjoy a carefree holiday, take care of your health and enjoy discovering the natural beauties surrounding us immensely. In the year 2013 we have had some guests come to our hotel year after year for 20 years uninterruptedly. We are grateful for their trust and our gift to them was a 7-day package for 2 people, free of charge. We are sure that we will be able to celebrate such and similar occasions also in the years to come. Amongst many regular guests there are also some famous people: Milan Kučan, the first president of the Republic of Slovenia, dr. Danilo Türk, a former president of the Republic of Slovenia, Zoran Milanovič, the current (2013) president of the government of the Republic of Croatia, the world famous theatre and movie actor Rade Šerbedžija and many others. A hotel with a touch of art and tradition We would like to inform all art lovers that we host a permanent art exhibition in the hotel - you can see over a 100 art works of renowned international painters in our corridors and rooms, the result of art colonies that took place in the hotel several years in a row. Rooms Hotel Kristal hosts up to 70 guests in 30 comfortable and modern single and double rooms, and even has rooms with three or four beds. In every room, you will find: shower and toilet, mini bar, safe, telephone, TV set, hair dryer, internet connection.
