It's amazing to be in the center of the biggest town in the south, but still not to be seen. The many trees around us turn the place into a green lagoon, full of quietness and peace. Now imagine you are lying in one of our hot tubs and you see the northern lights above your head.. miracles can happen here! Gesthús Selfoss offers 22 rooms in wooden bungalows, all with private facilities and kitchenette. It´s the perfect choice for people who want simple accommodation with all their needs but without any luxury. For the ones who still want to have all the luxury we offer fully equipped premium two bedroom summerhouses with private hot tub, kitchen, cozy living room with TV and big terrace. Summerhouses In 2014 we built two big luxury summerhouses, 50 m2 each. They have 2 bedrooms, one with a double queen size bed and the other with two separate beds. There is a sofa bed in the living room that fits 2 people so the summerhouses can fit 4 - 6 guests. The big terrace is very beautiful and has garden furniture and a private geothermal hot tub. The kitchen has ceramic cooker, oven, microwave, refrigerator, kitchenware, tableware for 6, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle and dining area. The bathroom has shower, WC, washbasin, towels, toiletries and private entrance to the terrace and hot tub. Guests staying in the summerhouses are welcome to use washing machine and dryer, located next to service center, for free. Breakfast buffet is served every morning from June - August at the service center
