DESCRIPTION OF THE FLOWER - STELLARIA Stellaria belongs to the family of carnations. It is well known around 120 species spread throughout the world, in Croatia is growing seven species. Their stems are round or rectangular cross section, leaves heart-shaped, ovate or elongated. It is often considered as weeds, although sometimes of it are prepared salads, stews and soups. It is believed to have medicinal properties.
